General Information About Turkish Visas

It is highly recommended that foreigners, who wish to visit Türkiye, should read the related information about the country’s visa regime.

While some applicants may be exempt from visa for their touristic or business visit to Türkiye, the others can obtain an e-Visa. All other applicants will need to obtain a visa through Turkish Representations in the abroad. 

It is possible to obtain e-Visa 7/24 at everywhere with internet connection. The applicants can obtain their visa after they fill in the necessary information concerning their identity, passport and travel dates and pay visa fee online.

If you would like to request a letter of invitation from our hosts for a visa application, please email Mr. Burak Fakioglu, Chief Specialist, International Relations at [email protected], detailing the following information in your request:

• Salutation (examples – Mr., Ms., Dr.)
• First/Given Name
• Last/Family Name
• Passport #
• Date of Birth (please spell out month)
• Country of Nationality
• Mailing Address
• Dates of arrival and departure

All letters will be sent as a PDF file via email. Hard copy of the invitation will not be sent.
